Pastor Mead, with his wife Paula, came to NYC over two decades ago as a church planter, starting a church in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn.  Recently, Memorial and Bensonhurst Baptist churches merged making him our new pastor.

Jason grew up in a military family that traveled all over America.  Coming from a non-religious progressive homelife, he explored truth and religions as a teen and eventually converted to become a Christian.   

 

He met Paula at a home Bible study when they were young and they married in 1997.  They have raised three children: Seth, Annabeth, and Samuel in small NYC apartments for 22 years.  He is passionate about teaching the Word of God and evangelizing tough and multicultural communities.  He loves his wife, grilling, cooking, fishing, reading, and gardening.
